Lake Crescent

I went into town for lunch with some friends on Wednesday and decided to take the l-o-n-g way home through Forks. I forgot how long it takes to make that drive, of course, so I was later making it home that I'd anticipated and didn't end up stopping for many pictures. I didn't even hit Ruby Beach until 5:30. I'll have to do it again when I have more time, but it was good to log a nice long drive in the van on roads I don't drive all the time. I was really excited to find that the road along Lake Crescent is being rebuilt. It looks like it's shaping up to be an excellent improvement. This photo is from the launch at the old Storm King Ranger Station.
